Hitachi Energy UK is seeking a Project Manager to lead the installation of PASS switchgear, manage the full project lifecycle, and safeguard commercial and contractual interests across internal and external stakeholders.

This role requires a PMP or equivalent certification, with a proven track record in transmission and distribution projects for clients such as National Grid, SSE, and Scottish Power. Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• PMP or equivalent certification required.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-project programs.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Experience in a global, matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of multiple projects from initiation to close.
• Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to protect Hitachi's commercial and contractual interests.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
• Monitor progress, risks, and budgets; implement mitigations.
• Mentor project teams and conduct lessons learned sessions.
• Coordinate warranty discussions across units and manufacturing.
