Job Title: Senior Project Manager - NPI & Sustaining

Job Description

In late January, we announced that Bridgefield Capital signed an agreement to acquire Philips’ Emergency Care business, which includes leading brands and products like HeartStart AEDs, Intrepid and DFM100 monitor defibrillators, Tempus monitor and Tempus ALS systems, and Corsium and ECI informatics solutions. We expect the transaction to close at the end of 2025.

With Bridgefield’s support and building on our 40+ year legacy of growth and innovation in emergency medical technology, the Emergency Care business will continue passionately pursuing our mission of saving lives, lowering healthcare costs, and advancing resuscitation science while serving the public access AED, EMS, military, and hospital markets.

This role offers an opportunity to be part of the formation of the “NewCo,” grow professionally and personally, and make a significant impact in the acute care space, benefiting consumers, patients, and healthcare workers relying on these life-saving solutions.

Your Role
  1. Manage first-time right NPI (New Product Introduction) projects focusing on costs, schedule, and quality.
  2. Oversee design and manufacturing transfers for EC product industrialization activities related to factory & Contract Manufacture.
  3. Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across supply chain, business, and program management.
  4. Manage business risks associated with Product Industrialization.
  5. Ensure early involvement in the design process.
  6. Optimize supply chain for NPIs and AOS to ensure customer satisfaction.
  7. Lead design transfer processes such as APQP and Process Validation, and drive process improvements.
  8. Create and maintain a diverse, inclusive, and engaged team.

Ideal Candidate
Education Qualification
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Technical Discipline or equivalent.
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience.
Technical/Functional Competencies
  • Experience in Project Management, especially in NPI & industrial transfers.
  • Proficiency with PMI/PMP methodologies and tools like MS-Project; Agile/Waterfall planning & execution.
  • Knowledge of NPI, phased releases, and supplier transfers (manufacturing, procurement, sourcing).
  • Understanding of change management and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0, digital transformation, and AI (preferred).
  • Experience managing CapEx and Non-Recurring Engineering purchases (preferred).
