Job summary

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, development and delivery of major capital and service transformation projects within the New QEH Programme. Job description

The Senior Project Manager will play a key role in the successful planning, development and delivery of major projects and workstreams within the New QEH Programme. Working as part of the programme delivery team, the post holder will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management of complex capital, infrastructure and service transformation projects associated with the redevelopment of The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn.

The post holder will provide specialist project management expertise throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, effectively, on time and within agreed budgets. They will lead the development of project plans, business cases, governance arrangements, reporting mechanisms and risk management processes, whilst ensuring compliance with Trust, NHS and New Hospital Programme requirements.

The Senior Project Manager will work collaboratively with clinical, operational, corporate and external stakeholders, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing competing priorities to ensure successful delivery of programme objectives.

Projects managed by the post holder will be of significant organisational importance, involving complex stakeholder environments, substantial financial investment and direct impact on future healthcare services and infrastructure.
