Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to lead Energy projects from CGNC - Chesterfield to Willington, as part of the Great Grid partnership. You will own delivery, safety, and budget on multi-disciplinary HV transmission schemes.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate engineering, construction, and commissioning teams, and drive cost control and commercial performance. Murphy emphasizes in-house expertise and innovative solutions to meet market needs.

Qualifications

Experience delivering HV Transmission & Distribution or major civils projects.
Experience in a Project Management role.
Qualifications: HNC/HND or NVQ Level 5 or Degree.
Excellent stakeholder management and client/subcontractor relations.

Responsibilities

Fully accountable for project delivery, ensuring safety, on-time, within contract and budget.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary project delivery and manage site and engineering managers.
Set project standards and ensure requirements are delivered and issues resolved.
Plan, review and deliver contract programmes; maintain client relationships and provide progress updates.
Manage resources and materials; escalate operational issues to the Project Director.
Oversee commercial activities, gross margin, cost control and financial metrics.
