Senior Project Manager – FS + Business Change essential

£90,000.00 + 5% performance related bonus

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join Robert Walters as a Consultant. As an employed Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations.

The successful candidate will become a member of our clients’ Transformation & Change team and support the business by:

1. Providing professional project management for one or more projects concurrently
2. Being responsible for the successful delivery of projects as measured against project deliverables, timescale, commercial objectives and risk management
3. Following a standardised approach to project governance, including the reporting on the progress of projects
4. Experience of delivering / leading projects within Financial Services
5. Experience of successfully completing the entire project lifecycle, from inception to implementation
6. Ability to lead a cross functional, distributed team to deliver successfully
7. Track record of delivering to time, quality and budget
8. Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
9. Experience leading projects and programmes autonomously, liaising directly with senior stakeholders
10. Demonstrable grasp of governance standards and expectations in Financial Services business
11. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to articulate complex messages with clarity and ease to all audiences and flex style as required
12. Ability to work and deliver to strict deadlines
13. Ability to cope with high demand requirements of stakeholders
14. Logical, innovative, methodical, collaborative and thorough approach to work
15. Expertise in enabling high-level decisions and implementing operational plans
16. Collaborative team-player who can influence outcomes as well as work independently. Known as being a team player and achieving for the group rather than as an individual
