Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to be involved in the strategic planning and business management of the largest digital transformation programme within the Environment & Business directorate. The Regulatory Services Programme is responsible for delivering digital services that will transform how the Environment Agency regulates.
You will lead within the Programme Management Office (PMO), providing valuable input into the financial and business management of the Programme to support risk mitigation and remove barriers to delivery, ensuring alignment with the business case and value for money.
We are looking for someone with a strong track record in managing complex financial information, collaborating with others to drive value for money, and influencing ongoing investment.

The team
The Digital, Innovation and Programmes team is responsible for the Digital Strategy and its implementation across E&B. Our work sets the strategic direction for delivering digital services that transform regulation.
You will work in a multidisciplinary team, alongside Defra shared services and third-party suppliers, to shape user-centered online services and digital platforms that are more efficient, simpler, and faster to use.
