Job summary

Mace Construct Limited in London is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own projects from inception to completion. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage key stakeholder relationships and ensure projects meet time, cost and quality targets.

The role requires experience across design, procurement, construction and handover, with a focus on safety, collaboration and client-focused delivery. Regular on-site leadership in a live environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction projects from inception to completion.
• Strong governance across time, cost, risk and stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate internal/external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initial brief through design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Build and lead high‑performing project teams and coordinate specialist support.
• Manage designers, consultants and stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes.
• Develop and maintain project plans, programmes and delivery strategies.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, risks and opportunities, taking action as needed.
• Communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders and ensure governance.
• Run project meetings and maintain decisions, actions and records.
• Oversee change control and document project changes.
• Support robust quality management throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure handover information is complete ahead of project completion.
• Create an environment where the plan, roles and progress are understood.
