Job Description

If you are an experienced Project Manager with a background or aspirations in the Defence sector, our Midlands team is expanding its capabilities in this area. Due to increasing client demand, we are eager to speak with candidates possessing a military/defence background who thrive on dynamic projects. You will join an existing team, aiming to grow in size and expertise to serve our high-profile clients.

Job Objectives

1. Influence and support client project delivery through planning, monitoring, and controlling.
2. Interact with the project team to define and scrutinize the scope of work.
3. Champion appropriate programme and project delivery strategies for successful outcomes.
4. Define programmes and projects to align with client business needs.
5. Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
6. Develop and update detailed schedules, manage costs, and address variances.
7. Ensure delivery of services through technical, engineering, project controls, and financial support functions.
8. Prepare Business Cases and secure approvals.
9. Conduct Gateway reviews.
10. Maintain effective change management processes.
11. Prepare status reports and dashboards.
12. Manage project plans and monitor KPIs.

Qualifications

Required:

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Preferred:

• Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM).
• Security Clearance.
• Certified Project Management Associate.
