The role – what is it we would like you to do?

Currie & Brown is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Birmingham office.

Your core duties will involve:

• Supporting the project lead in managing the design and construction phases of multi-site design and fit-out projects.
• Liaising with multiple stakeholders including client and customer teams, property services, designers, contractors, FM, building management, and security consultants.
• Leading the coordination of the customer fit-out design against the client’s guidelines and constraints.
• Delivering projects, commissions, and professional assignments.
• Setting objectives and priorities proactively as a team player.
• Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for successful project completion; liaising with other managers for financial control.
• Assisting with commercial management services.
• Ensuring all work outputs are accurate and delivered on time.
• Supporting the team leader/service leaders in project cost management.
• Representing the company professionally, meeting, negotiating, and building strong client relationships.

What skills and attributes are we looking for from you:

• Technical delivery experience within the construction industry.
• Strong technical writing, client-facing, and communication skills.
• Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, disciplined, and commercially aware.
• A team player with a positive attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible.
• BSc in construction management, architecture, building surveying, or equivalent.
• Experience in the education sector environment is advantageous.
