Job summary

Walker & Sloan in Winchester (serving Brighton & the South Coast) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee projects from feasibility to delivery. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality.

The role offers autonomy, broad client exposure, and clear progression within a growing consultancy across commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and other sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects within a construction consultancy.
• Delivery of projects across multiple sectors (commercial, residential, education, healthcare, industrial).
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of project governance, procurement and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from inception through to completion for clients.
• Act as primary client contact throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams and external stakeholders.
• Develop project programmes, delivery strategies, and governance procedures.
• Advise clients on procurement routes and delivery methods.
• Manage tender processes and contractor appointments.
• Administer JCT contracts; NEC experience is advantageous.
• Monitor budgets, programmes, and commercial performance.
• Mentor junior team members and support career development.
• Build long-term client relationships and identify repeat business.
