Job Description:

  • Location: Bridgwater, TA5 1DL (hybrid working)
  • Contract: 3 months (with potential to extend)
  • Rate: £589 per day through umbrella
  • Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday

Role Overview: As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary, multivendor, and multi-location team in developing and implementing the MPower L5 time-sheeting and planning tool. Responsibilities include managing subcontractor relationships, developing an integrated schedule, and ensuring successful delivery, including integration with Oracle P6 and Azure Data Lake.

Key Competencies:

  • Project Management: Proven leadership in managing complex projects across various teams and locations.
  • Vendor Management: Experience in managing third-party vendors and subcontractors, monitoring dependencies and critical paths.
  • Schedule Development: Ability to create an integrated project schedule with necessary integrations.
  • Dependency Management: Oversee key dependencies across the organization, vendors, and suppliers for Azure Data Lake and related components.
  • Proof of Concept: Define scope and deployment audience, aiming for a stand-up date by July 2024.
  • Financial Management: Manage financials related to the investment case, tracking baseline, actuals, and forecasts.
  • Operating Model: Define target operating model, deployment, and release strategies.
  • Readiness Assessment: Establish go/no-go criteria and readiness scorecards for proof of concept and final product.
  • Training Coordination: Plan and coordinate training content creation and rollout.
  • RAID Management: Effectively manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies.

Experience Needed:

  • Experience with Oracle, preferably Primavera P6.
  • MPower (formerly Monitor) experience is preferred.
  • Self-starter with strong drive and a positive attitude.
  • Resourceful with initiative to solve complex problems.
  • Solid Project Management background in technical environments.
  • Previous experience in construction project management, including site productivity monitoring, planning tools, and lean construction.
