Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Project Manager to join the Southampton team, delivering complex development projects across the South Coast and beyond. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and build trusted client relationships to drive successful outcomes.

Reporting to the PM Lead, you will shape project governance, mitigate risks, and mentor junior colleagues while promoting collaboration and stakeholder engagement across public and private sector clients.

Qualifications

• Good experience in project management, with a focus on development projects involving buildings, property and places.
• Aspirations to develop existing project management qualifications and progress to Chartered Project Manager status with either APM or RICS.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex client organisations, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to deliver on time, budget, and quality.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to align goals and deliverables.
• Monitor project risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays.
• Support business development and maintain strong client relationships across public and private sector clients.
