About our Team: Established in 2022, Cirium’s Project Management Office (PMO) was created to elevate our approach to project governance, providing greater visibility and enabling proactive risk management across our most critical and strategic initiatives. Since its inception, the PMO has continued to mature, delivering strong business value and expanding its impact across the organization. The PMO now plays a critical role in driving value across the highest-priority initiatives, fostering exceptional collaboration between Product, Technology, and Data teams to ensure seamless execution and success within an agile environment.


About the Role: Excellent opportunity to join Cirium’s Programme Management Office as a Senior Project Manager based in the UK. The role is hybrid with 2 days required in the office in either London or Southampton.


Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a diverse portfolio of projects varying in complexity and scale, working in close partnership with product, technology, and data teams.

Requirements:

  1. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and programs within a global technology organization, with the ability to adapt beyond conventional project management methodologies to maximize value delivery.
  2. Demonstrable project management experience from working on projects that require input from a range of cross-functional groups such as scrum software engineering teams, project teams, architects, data SMEs, etc.
  3. Bachelor's degree in technology, finance, business, or equivalent experience preferred.
  4. Desire to join a fast-paced and driven environment, supporting Cirium in reaching its goal of powering every decision in aviation.
  5. Leadership style that inspires and guides teams effectively.
  6. Experience and confidence to lead complex projects through periods of uncertainty, with the ability to pre-empt risks and present data/status effectively.
  7. Expert communication skills and ability to present complex projects at a high level to senior stakeholders.
  8. Ability to manage complex dependencies across multiple engineering squads and cross-functional groups, knowing when to pivot project management approaches to meet specific needs.
