Senior Project Manager – Calgary

They have offices in Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton, Kelowna, Red Deer, Calgary, and Ottawa, employing over 700 people. The company specializes in delivering fast-track/complex fit-out projects ranging from $1-15M, with a stellar track record of delivering new build projects from $30M - $200M using various delivery methods (Lump Sum, IPD, CM, D&B, PDB).

Role Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project management, including systems integration, procurement, scope, schedule, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and stakeholder engagement.
• Work closely with the project team and stakeholders, maintaining excellent relationships with subcontractors and clients.
• Oversee project activities throughout the project lifecycle, including resource allocation, scheduling, documentation, and budgeting.
• Ensure project budgets are met and provide accurate monthly forecasts.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients, designers, site superintendents, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Organize project teams and guide them to produce deliverables according to specifications.
• Manage internal and external contractors and trades.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in commercial construction.
• Five or more years of direct project management experience.
• Willingness to travel locally and off-site as required.
• Understanding of Lean Construction; education in this area is an asset.
• Strong mentorship and coaching skills.
• High self-awareness, entrepreneurial mindset, and personal values.
• Understanding of corporate finance and governance.

The salary range for this role is C$145,000 - $157,000 (£78k-£85k), plus bonuses, share options, and benefits. Candidates must have experience delivering projects valued between £10-£30M from start to finish, demonstrate consistent employment, and meet visa requirements to work in Canada—assistance with visas will be provided.
