The Senior Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project management, including systems integration, procurement, scope, schedule, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and stakeholders. The role involves working closely with the project team and stakeholders, maintaining excellent relationships with subcontractors and clients.

  • Manage project activities throughout the project lifecycle, including resource allocation, scheduling, documentation, and budgeting
  • Achieve project budgets and provide accurate monthly forecasts
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients, designers, site superintendents, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  • Organize project teams and guide them to produce deliverables according to specifications
  • Manage internal and external contractors or trades

Qualifications:

  • Eight or more years of experience in commercial construction
  • Five or more years of direct experience in construction project management
  • Willingness to travel locally and to off-site locations as required
  • Lean Construction understanding (education is an asset)
  • Strong mentorship and coaching skills
  • High self-awareness, entrepreneurial mindset, and personal values
  • Understanding of corporate finance and governance

The salary range for this role is C$145,000 to C$157,000 (£78k-£85k), plus bonuses, share options, benefits, and relocation assistance.

To qualify, candidates must have previous experience delivering projects valued between £10M and £30M from start to finish, demonstrate consistent employment, and meet visa requirements to live and work in Canada. The company will assist with visa costs and provide guidance.
