Job summary

Mivan Marine Ltd in Northern Ireland is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead a landmark fit-out project, with travel to London. You will coordinate resources, manage budgets and ensure quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans and ensure resources are in place to meet deadlines.
• Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring delivery within financial targets.
• Ensure work meets client specifications and quality standards, including ITPs.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Manage all project resources including staff, labour, plant, materials, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Set targets and reporting procedures, and measure performance of team and stakeholders.
• Liaise with clients and their representatives, provide regular updates, resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Ensure contractual conditions are adhered to and maintain accurate records.
• Implement and uphold company Safety Management Procedures on all projects.

Candidates should have extensiveexperienceon new build and fit-out type projectsand a third levelqualification in a related subject or experience in a similar ProjectManagement role The ideal candidate will be commercially astute with strongleadership and people management skills and the ability to negotiate andinfluence.

Main duties will include:

• Develop comprehensive project plans and ensure all necessary resources are in place to meet deadlines.
• Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring delivery within financialtargets.
• Ensure all work meets client specifications and quality standards,including implementation of the Control Quality Plan and Inspection & TestPlans (ITPs).
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safetyregulations.
• Effectively manage all project resources including staff, labour, plant,materials, subcontractors, and internal departments (e.g., design and factoryteams).
• Set clear targets and reporting procedures, and measure team andstakeholder performance against these standards.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients and their representatives,providing regular updates and resolving issues promptly.
• Proactively develop and maintain strong client relationships toencourage repeat business and referrals.
• Ensure contractual conditions are adhered to and maintain accurate,contemporary records to protect the company’s position.
• Implement and uphold company Operations and Safety Management Procedureson all projects. Demonstrate a high standard of safety at all times throughoutthe project.
• Undertake any other responsibilities within your knowledge, experience,or competency as requested by senior management.
