Are you ready to make a difference in the water & waste industry?

As Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of programmes of change from initiation through to service transition, matrix managing all project resources and managing relationships/deliverables with third-party providers and internal stakeholders.

You will also support the Programme Manager in delivering the overall portfolio, including scoping, defining, and managing resources across the team.

Your responsibilities include:
  1. Successful delivery of IT/Business programmes and projects including estimates, plans, resource management, schedule, scope, requirements, solutions, budget, and deliverables.
  2. Motivation and leadership of team members, driving engagement through guidance, technical support, and coaching.
  3. Quality assurance of project deliverables, ensuring all artefacts are produced per PMO guidelines.
  4. Supporting resource allocations across teams.
  5. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across business and IT.
  6. Communicating interdependencies within and across the programme and contributing to the portfolio's cross-dependencies.
  7. Full budget accountability for programmes/projects.
  8. Managing your team and supporting resource allocations.
  9. Supporting the recruitment and onboarding of project managers or analysts.
  10. Taking full responsibility for your programmes/projects.
Skills and experience needed:
  • PMP, Prince 2, or equivalent certification
  • Agile qualification or experience
  • Experience managing IT projects, including shaping, scoping, and delivering medium and large projects
  • Experience with procurement and managing third-party suppliers
  • Experience working in a matrix environment with various functions
  • Outcome-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Experience managing portfolio/programme deliveries
  • People management experience, including performance reviews, coaching, and mentoring
