We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery within this framework, working closely with the Head of Programme to meet expectations.

Key Tasks:
  1. Lead project delivery with excellent controls to ensure on-time and on-budget completion.
  2. Manage health and safety, quality, and overall project performance, leading and developing the project team.
  3. Support stakeholder engagement and reporting, fostering trust and collaboration with AWE and internal teams.
  4. Ensure resources are motivated, trained, and available.
  5. Identify, mitigate, and report risks associated with the programme.
  6. Lead project governance and accountability in project board meetings.
  7. Track and report project milestones and status to leadership and stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven project and programme management experience, especially in regulated environments.
  • Leadership skills with experience in change management and team building.
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts and CDM regulations.
  • Experience delivering end-to-end programmes in technical environments, ideally in construction or contractor roles.
  • Subcontractor management experience, particularly in mechanical, electrical, or civil works.
  • Excellent planning skills, resilience, and flexibility to maintain project momentum.
  • Availability to attend site three days per week.

All employment offers are subject to security clearance, including BPSS, SC, or DV, which may involve additional evaluations for non-British nationals.
