Job description

Fourblue are working with a leading independent connections provider (ICP) and independent distribution network operator (IDNO), specialising in the design and delivery of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) infrastructure projects. They work across a diverse range of sectors, including industrial, commercial, and high-rise residential developments, providing end-to-end solutions for new connections, upgrades, and diversions.

Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:

• Lead and manage multiple HV and LV infrastructure projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Oversee and ensure compliance with all DNO and IDNO processes, including application submissions, design approvals, and connection agreements
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring effective communication and relationship management throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project managers and site teams, promoting best practices and professional development
• Identify potential risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project delivery
• Ensure all projects adhere to relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a strong safety culture on-site

Criteria of the Senior Project Manager:

• Proven experience in managing HV and LV infrastructure projects within DNO and IDNO frameworks, with a strong understanding of 11kV networks
• In-depth knowledge of electrical distribution networks, including design, installation, and commissioning processes
• Relevant electrical engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND or equivalent). Project management certifications (e.g., APM PMQ, Prince2) are desirable
