Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: Warwickshire, EES
Solution is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead Agile project planning and coordination efforts for a leading client in the automotive technology space. In this role, you will be at the forefront of aligning technical delivery teams with broader programme objectives, ensuring efficient execution, risk mitigation, and timely communication across stakeholders. You’ll be working closely with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Human Factors (HF) teams, as well as cross-functional departments across global locations, including China and the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate timing requirements to relevant internal teams and stakeholders.
- Align departmental work plans with overall programme timelines and delivery targets.
- Use JIRA and Confluence to plan, track, and report on project progress.
- Adjust planning in response to programme shifts or late-stage changes.
- Track project status, escalate risks, and ensure timely delivery across all phases.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, capacity forecasting, and Agile ceremonies.
- Coordinate with cross-regional teams (e.g., China, Portland) for specification alignment.
- Support continuous improvement by analysing delivery metrics and proposing process enhancements.
- Lead and deliver complex projects with minimal oversight while ensuring strategic alignment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and delivery models.
- Proven experience planning for large-scale, cross-functional technical teams.
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for Agile planning and project tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Experience delivering technical products in collaborative settings.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including with senior leadership.
- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe, Scrum Master, PMI-ACP).
- Experience with Agile transformation or coaching initiatives.
- Familiarity with Lean principles and DevOps integration.
- Previous experience working in the automotive or technology sectors.
