We are working with an organisation in the Education sector that is looking for a Senior Project Manager to deliver multiple large and technically complex ICT projects and programmes aligned with long-term strategic outcomes. This is a fixed-term contract for 18 months.

Your Role

If you have experience managing multiple complex projects, this is a great opportunity for you. You will need experience in developing strategies to identify potential risks and creating mitigation plans.

The role involves working on technical projects with strategic stakeholder alignment. You will understand the steps needed to complete tasks and evaluate outcomes.

This is a senior-level opportunity where you will lead the delivery of exciting projects within an educational environment, working with a small team to achieve objectives.

Role and Responsibilities

• Relevant experience in app development and SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)
• Experience delivering complex technical solutions
• Hands-on involvement, e.g., overseeing testing, presenting products at meetings
• Ability to lead and manage an IT team, engage with senior business stakeholders, and demonstrate strong technical skills and team leadership. Good communication skills at all levels. Note: Not suitable for a director-level candidate.

Further Details

• Salary between £45,000 - £57,000
• Flexible working with 1 or 2 days on-site in Southampton
• 18-month fixed-term contract
