Senior Project Manager

Purpose of the job

To lead, direct, coordinate, and implement key projects with multidisciplinary teams to deliver customer requirements while meeting Nuvia's performance and profit margins. Ensure projects meet time, quality, and cost requirements, with a focus on safety and compliance within highly regulated sectors.

Reports to

Project Sponsor and/or Business Area Director

Key Accountabilities

• Manage the delivery of existing projects mid-cycle to ensure successful completion.
• Launch new projects, establish communication channels, and plan project activities.
• Prepare proposals, specifications, and project management plans under guidance.
• Monitor and control project costs, resources, and schedules across multidisciplinary teams.
• Support technical leads and supervise project teams to maintain standards of quality and safety.
• Assess and mitigate project risks.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with the Project Management Plan (PMP).

Efficient & Effective Handover of Existing Projects

• Arrange review meetings to assess current project status.
• Understand project requirements, stakeholders, complexities, and risks to ensure smooth transition.

Launching the Project and Establishing Communication Routes

• Hold project start-up meetings, set up teams, and obtain resources.
• Establish communication channels with stakeholders and support project dealings.

Project Planning and Control

• Prepare proposals, strategies, budgets, and schedules.
• Manage subcontracting processes and monitor project costs and progress.

Supervision and Standards

• Supervise project teams to achieve safety and quality standards.
