We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Kier Strategic Projects Business to work on high-value, complex schemes in the Healthcare & Science sector.

At Kier, our Strategic Project business delivers high-value schemes across core sectors including Defence, Custodial, Health & Commercial.

Location: Eastern and Northern Home Counties.

Hours: Full Time Permanent.

*We are flexible on location currently as the project could be anywhere across the Northern Home and Eastern Counties.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Project Manager, you will likely lead a dedicated area of a major project valued between £500m-£1bn.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Managing design and construction activities to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery, meeting stakeholder expectations.
• Promoting and leading a strong SHE culture, ensuring all work is planned and executed safely, in line with Kier policies, best practices, and statutory regulations.
• Implementing and managing project quality strategies, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, maintaining records, and upholding high standards per Kier's Quality Management policies.
• Planning, managing, and monitoring subcontractor and supplier performance to ensure competence, compliance, and effective collaboration to meet project and contractual requirements.
• Implementing and managing the project delivery strategy.
• Working closely with the commercial team to understand project finances.

What are we looking for?

In a Senior Project Manager, we're seeking:

• Experience in construction project delivery as a Project Manager or Project Director.
• Experience in the Major Project, Health, or Science sectors is advantageous. Experience with large public sector clients is also desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to motivate and lead a team.
