Role Overview

In this senior role you’ll ownership of delivery for digital, data and technology projects underpinning secure government operations. You’ll write business cases, translate requirements, realise benefits, manage costs, quality and time, identify new business opportunities, and embed rigorous risk and change management.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, technical teams, government partners and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with the Programme Operating Framework.
• Contribute to business cases, assurance reviews and reporting.
• Champion user needs, accessibility and service design principles.
• Lead preparation for GDS assessments on internal governance boards.
• Collaborate with researchers, designers, and technical architects to ensure secure, scalable and effective services.

Qualifications

• APM PMQ, PRINCE2, Agile Project Management or equivalent certification.
• Familiarity with project tools such as MS Project.
• Experience in FCDO Services or similar secure government organisation.
• Hands‑on knowledge of resource management, development and allocation processes.
• Understanding of our organisation’s financial and commercial processes.
• Experience delivering digital or technical projects in secure or government environments.
