Job summary

Sphere Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a major multi-storey development in North Devon. You will take overall responsibility for programme, quality, commercial performance and HSE, while coordinating the site-based team and balancing client, consultants, subcontractors and supply chain.

You will oversee construction through early stages to completion, monitor progress, manage risks and ensure quality and safety standards are met on this landmark scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager on major construction schemes.
• Strong traditional build experience with multi-storey residential delivery.
• Experience with precast concrete and complex structural elements.
• Solid understanding of programme, quality, commercial and health & safety requirements.

Sphere Solutions are working with a successful large regional contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a major new scheme in North Devon.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a land mark scheme and take a leading role in the delivery of a prestigious development programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the successful delivery of a major multi-storey development
• Take overall responsibility for programme, quality, commercial performance and health & safety
• Manage and coordinate the site-based project team
• Work closely with the client, consultants, subcontractors and supply chain
• Oversee construction activities from early stages through to completion
• Monitor project progress against programme and key milestones
• Ensure works are delivered to the required quality and specification
• Manage risks, issues and project constraints effectively
• Coordinate design, procurement and construction activities
• Provide strong leadership and direction to the wider project team
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental requirements
• Maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager on major construction schemes
• Strong traditional build experience
• Previous experience delivering multi-storey residential developments / apartment schemes
• Experience working with precast concrete and complex structural elements
• A strong understanding of programme, quality, commercial and health & safety requirements
