NCC Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology and business transformation initiatives. You will apply Agile delivery expertise and operate as both a Scrum Master and Product Owner to maximise value.

You will work across multiple teams and functions, aligning stakeholders, managing backlogs, and driving continuous improvement to deliver outcomes that meet strategic objectives. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex projects within Agile environments.
• Develop and maintain delivery plans, roadmaps, milestones, and dependencies.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
• Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies proactively.
• Provide regular reporting and updates to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices across teams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Lead multi-disciplinary Agile delivery teams.
• Promote high-performing team dynamics and Agile maturity improvements.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex technology and business transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will possess extensive Agile delivery expertise and have demonstrable experience operating as both a Scrum Master and Product Owner.

The role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage project delivery, facilitate Agile ceremonies, drive continuous improvement, align stakeholders, and maximise business value through effective backlog management and prioritisation.

The Senior Project Manager will work across multiple teams, programmes, and business functions to ensure delivery outcomes meet strategic objectives whilst fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex projects within Agile environments.

Essential Skills & Experience

Project Management

• Strong project planning, governance, and reporting experience.
• Excellent risk, issue, dependency, and change management skills.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams.

Agile Delivery

• Experience delivering complex projects within Agile environments.
• Extensive experience using Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale technology and transformation programmes.

Scrum Master Experience (Mandatory)

• Previous hands-on experience operating as a Scrum Master.
• Strong understanding of Scrum framework and servant leadership principles.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams.
• Proven ability to remove delivery impediments and enhance team performance.

Product Owner Experience (Mandatory)

• Previous experience acting as a Product Owner.
• Strong backlog management and prioritisation expertise.
• Experience creating and managing product roadmaps.
• Ability to convert business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Focus on value-driven delivery and customer outcomes.
