Are you a Project Manager seeking a role where you can choose how to progress your career? Whether that be as a sector specialist or someone that operates across multiple areas of the business, they are an employer that doesn’t use a one size fits all approach to career development. Are you interested in working with highly reputable private/commercial sector clients within a global multidisciplinary firm? Do you want to work for a business that has delivered award-winning, multimillion-pound city centre developments?

The Opportunity

A global real estate and development consultancy servicing a vast range of clients across various service lines including planning, development, asset management, lease advisory, project management, and strategic business advice.

In Manchester, they have a growing and established projects team of approximately 30 professionals including Project Managers, Building Surveyors, and PQS Quantity Surveyors. They deliver industry-leading solutions across large-scale developments with project values around £200 million, playing a key role in infrastructure, mixed-use residential, commercial offices, and logistics projects.

Their flexible working approach allows individuals to thrive; some operate across multiple sectors, while others focus on specialist areas – it’s your choice. The company collaborates with Project Managers to develop careers aligned with personal goals.

The team follows a hybrid working model (minimum two days in the office per week), generally opting for more office time but accommodating remote work preferences.

With a presence in over 100 offices, they combine industry experience with innovation to shape the future of commercial real estate.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication.
  2. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and design documentation, keeping everything on track.
  3. Lead meetings, set agendas, and follow up on tasks to drive progress.
  4. Coordinate proposals, review bids, and ensure procurement aligns with project needs.
  5. Monitor financials, process invoices and change orders accurately.
  6. Deliver timely project reports, highlighting key updates and challenges.
  7. Manage multiple projects efficiently, proactively identifying solutions to potential issues.

MRICS qualification is highly desirable but they will also consider individuals qualified by experience.
