Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support and deliver projects across the UK. In this role, you will lead the full project lifecycle, managing multiple complex projects and ensuring high standards and deadlines are met. Your success will depend on building and maintaining effective working relationships with clients, contractors, and senior leaders within the business.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee feasibility studies for new sites, providing detailed risk analysis and top-line estimates for clients.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle from start to finish, ensuring all stages are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage project budgets, administration, and cost sign-off.
  • Value engineer all construction elements without compromising quality.
  • Ensure external consultants, including design and architecture teams, deliver on time and within budget.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance and ensure all projects adhere to statutory regulations.
  • Manage project programming, schedules, and delivery dates.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, providing accurate and timely reporting.
  • Lead client rollouts for new stores and refurbishments.
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers and subcontractors to ensure best value for clients.
  • Lead, develop, and provide direction to the project team.
  • Form positive relationships with professional services teams.
  • Promote a “can-do” attitude, reacting with urgency while managing realistic timelines.
  • Travel extensively around the UK to attend project sites.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong work ethic, dynamic self-starter with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Highly organized and diligent.
  • Experience in contractor/client-side contracts and project management, particularly in retail, leisure, or hospitality sectors.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-end retail interior fit-outs across the UK.
  • Solid understanding of construction safety requirements and H&S legislation.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including formulas and spreadsheet development.
  • Health & safety trained, with site-based certificates (e.g., CSCS/SMSTS) desirable.
  • Clean UK driving license.
