Job description

Job Description

My client is a major player within the Fit Out and Refurbishment market. They are a cash rich, robust business who were established 30 years ago and are based in the heart of London.

Typically their projects are in ‘zone 1’ ranging from CAT B fit outs for blue chip businesses and challenging Cut & Carve projects up to £270M.

Their London turnover sits around £350M and they have lots of big jobs in the pipeline.

They have been successful in attracting and recruiting some of the industry’s best talent, creating a recognisable brand and establishing themselves as an industry leader. As a result of several project wins, they are looking to grow their operations team. Although my client is a large company, they have successfully maintained a close-knit, family feel. Each member of staff is given a well-defined progression path, ensuring opportunities for growth and career development within the company.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain contact, where required, with potential clients during tender progress.
  2. Ensure a construction programme & procurement schedule is developed and managed.
  3. Manage the construction team, including subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
  4. Identify potential risks to the project.
  5. Client communication: act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates on progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
  6. Ensure that the project adheres to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
  7. Reporting and documentation: maintain thorough documentation throughout the project.

Ideal Candidate:

  1. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and lead strong, motivated teams.
  2. Team player.
  3. Engaging.
  4. Dedication.
  5. Ideally have experience working on complex cut and carve refurbishment, retained facades, subterranean work, removing roofs and extending buildings or prime end user CAT B fit outs.
  6. Longevity with previous employers.

Salary:

Up to £125,000 + Travel + Bonus + Pension + Healthcare
