Actively recruiting for an enthusiastic, experienced Senior Project Manager to join a Principal contractor for a £12million new build commercial scheme in Central London. This contractor is well known for their high end finishes and internal fit out projects. However, they are rapidly growing in the new build and commercial / mixed use cut & carve sector.

About the role

• The ideal candidate will be a true number one Project Manager on site and be able to lead a project from start to finish.
• This is a steel structure, new build scheme which is logistically challenging and therefore proven experience on new build commercial schemes is essential for this role
• The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing the site teams and procuring the subcontractors, whilst reporting into the Construction Director
• You will be the acting client liaison.
• This role will require you to be very hands on and therefore the right candidate will be a good problem solver and tackle problems head on as and when they arise.

Requirements for The Senior Project Manager

• Previous experience as being a number one on site on schemes circa £10-£20million is essential for this role.
• The ideal candidate will come from a main / principal contractor background and have experience of managing / liaising with the client
• Glass facade / cladding experience is desirable
• Degree background in Construction management or Civil Engineering is desired.

• A driven and can do attitude is essential
