We partner with global corporates and UK scaleups to deliver transformative marketing campaigns, brand experiences, and strategic innovation. Our model is lean, modular, and membership-based — drawing on a curated network of over 500 of the UK’s top creative, strategic, and digital specialists to build bespoke teams around every brief.

In addition to the client projects we deliver, we create a number of thought-leadership publications, including The New Strategist and quarterly white papers.

In 2024, we invested over £200k into our Incubator, worked with 39 charities across Southwark and South London and our volunteers delivered over £500k of creative services to charities for free.

Founded in 2018, FSC is start-up that truly believe in a culture of testing and learning, being flexible and showing our values through our work, not just talking about them on social media.

FSC is committed to providing our clients with top-level project teams made up from our membership of talented creative professionals fed up with the usual agency bullshit, who believe in craft, quality and care in all the work that they do.

FSC work 3 days a week from our offices in Bussey Building, Peckham. As a start-up, our team believes this time together is vital for team cohesiveness and connection. Our offices are shared with CIC, and the team are surrounded daily by our inspiring project teams, volunteers and the charities we work with within the community.

Additionally, we offer:

• Flexible working hours, with start times between 8am - 10am and respective end times between 5pm - 7pm

• Summer office shutdown, where the office is closed in August so our teams can work remotely anywhere in the world
• Christmas shutdown, where FSC is closed for 2 weeks

ABOUT THE ROLE

The FSC Senior Project Manager will be joining the Delivery Team, and will be managed by our Head of Delivery.

The FSC Senior Project Manager will be highly experienced and dynamic, overseeing diverse range of projects for our clients. These can include strategic consultancy, research, brand and visual design, new products and service design, digital marketing and campaigns, as well as print and TV projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assembling and leading multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring seamless project execution, and delivering outstanding results that align with our clients’ needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Onboarding New Team Members: Integrate new members into project teams, fostering a positive and collaborative environment that aligns with FSC values
• Motivate and Set Up Teams for Success: Inspire and guide multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring they are well-prepared and equipped to meet project challenges

2. Project Planning and Execution

• Hands-on Collaboration: Work closely with the team, delving into the details of the work, aiding in problem-solving, and collaboratively crafting solutions and deliverables
• Dynamic Planning and Delivery: Oversee the planning and delivery of projects, prioritising tasks based on team capacity and capabilities to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes
• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
• Timings Management: Ensure all projects adhere to established timelines, adjusting plans as necessary to address any delays or changes in project scope

3. Risk Management and Issue Resolution

• Identify and Mitigate Risks: Spot potential issues early, provide recommendations, and determine the appropriate escalation points to alleviate delivery challenges
• Decisive Action: Make timely decisions, communicate them clearly, and implement them swiftly to keep projects on track

4. Scoping and Estimation

• Project Scoping: Accurately scope and estimate project efforts, creating detailed proposals and Statements of Work (SOW) that outline deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.

5. Client Relationship Management

• Build Client Relationships: Develop strong relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business to confidently discuss challenges and create tailored solutions.
• Identify Growth Opportunities: Spot opportunities for account growth and present them to clients, contributing to the expansion of our client portfolio.

6. Documentation and Presentation

• Deck Creation: Develop compelling project decks and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, clearly outlining project process, plans, and outcomes
• Reporting: Regularly report on project status, risks, and deliverables to clients and senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone excited to join a start-up team, working in a new model and testing and learning all the time. Our ideal candidate will have:

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in a consulting, creative, or digital marketing agency environment
• Leadership: Proven ability to to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and high performance
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and decisions to clients and team members
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
• Client Focus: Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a deep understanding of client business needs and challenges
• Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools and software, as well as a solid understanding of digital marketing, design, and production processes
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and client needs, maintaining flexibility and resilience under pressure
• Presentation Skills: Proficiency in creating engaging and informative project decks and presentations
