Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Compliance SMEs, Legal, Risk, ITSD, and external consultants to define requirements and manage expectations.
  • Process Design: Map current-state processes and design future-state workflows to enhance case and findings management efficiency.
  • Technology Implementation: Oversee the configuration and deployment of tools, coordinating with ITSD and vendors as necessary.
  • Governance & Reporting: Establish governance structures and provide updates to the programme steering committee and senior stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Support business readiness activities, including training, communications, and the integration of new tools into day-to-day operations.
  • Regulatory Alignment: Ensure that tools and processes meet regulatory expectations and align with the compliance risk management framework.
  • Quality Assurance: Manage testing and validation to ensure tools meet both functional and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance tool usability, reporting capabilities, and integration with other compliance systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Project management experience within Compliance, Legal, or Risk functions in a global financial institution.
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulatory obligations management and change processes.
  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-jurisdictional compliance or risk projects, such as obligations registers or compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with EMEA financial services regulations (e.g., UK FCA/PRA, EU regulations).
  • Formal project management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and drive consensus.
  • Demonstrated team building and management skills, with a hands-on approach to achieving objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a full understanding of the procurement lifecycle.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
