Overview

Job summary: United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) is undergoing change to support the delivery of its vision and strategic objectives. The Senior Project Manager will support the Digital Transformation Programme Manager to deliver the EPR transformation programme and be responsible for managing and delivering specific projects within it. The successful candidate will be supported through appraisal, objective setting and personal development, and will work with internal Trust delivery teams as well as third party suppliers and partners whilst representing Digital Services. The role requires managing all aspects of project governance using PRINCE2 methodology. The candidate should be highly motivated, possess a current professional qualification (e.g., PRINCE2), have relevant experience and evidence of delivering IT infrastructure projects, and be willing to travel between all Trust sites.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities include:

  • Organise and administer associated meetings, keeping up-to-date action logs
  • Develop project plans aligned to Trust strategy (notably the EPR programme) with milestones and KPI measures to achieve deliverables and benefits
  • Deliver against milestones within programme/project plans, coordinate dependencies/interfaces, analyse conflicts between programmes/projects and recommend corrective action
  • Drive delivery of projects within agreed cost, timescale and quality parameters, demonstrating outcomes and business change in line with the programme plan and governance
