Job summary

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Digital Delivery team and lead complex, high-impact projects from initiation through to implementation.

The role requires strong governance, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into tangible outcomes. The position is full-time and permanent, based at our head office in Ipswich with a hybrid pattern: 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering complex projects and change initiatives from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of project governance and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• A recognised Project Management qualification such as APM, PRINCE2, Agile, PMP or equivalent is essential.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Digital Delivery team and lead the successful delivery of complex, high-impact projects and change initiatives across Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. This is a key role responsible for translating strategic objectives into tangible outcomes, ensuring projects are planned, governed and delivered effectively while realising measurable business benefits.

Working closely with senior leaders, business stakeholders, suppliers and delivery teams, you will provide strong leadership across the full project lifecycle. You'll bring clarity, structure and pace to delivery, balancing competing priorities while maintaining control of scope, budget, risk, quality and timelines. As a trusted partner to stakeholders at all levels, you'll enable informed decision-making, build alignment and help navigate change with confidence. Beyond delivering successful projects, you will play an important role in shaping and strengthening our delivery capability. You will support the evolution of project management standards, governance and ways of working, helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and delivery excellence across the organisation.

This is a Full-Time, permanent position working 35 hours per week based at our Head Office (Fred Olsen House, 42 White House Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP1 5LL) offering a hybrid work pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
