Company & Project

An award-winning Main Contractor with a busy project pipeline is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their regional office. The role involves working on projects across Healthcare, Science, Education, and Leisure sectors.

The client has a secured order book for 2025/26, including projects valued at approximately £50m+. The candidate will initially work within pre-construction during the PCSA stage of a two-stage project, joining before on-site work begins.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project management functions from planning, design, and financial management to construction delivery.
• Previous experience managing projects over £30m as No.1 Project Manager is essential.
• Strong knowledge of pre-construction management, contract management, H&S, and excellent client-facing skills.

Candidate Profile

• Stable career history with Top 50 Main Contractors, managing projects from concept to completion.
• Experience delivering construction projects over £30m in sectors such as Healthcare, Commercial, Education, Science, Leisure, or Mixed-Use.
• Background in Site Management or Engineering, with a valid CSCS Card and ideally NVQ Level 6, BSc, or MCIOB.
• Exceptional client-facing and people management skills, experience leading teams of around 20 staff, with solid technical knowledge in planning, design, commercial, and construction delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

Degree in Construction Management or comparable qualification (NVQ/HNC). MCIOB status is advantageous.
