OVERVIEW:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Project Manager to join an internal Digital Transformation team. The successful candidate will have an excellent opportunity to lead and support a diverse range of Digital Transformation Programmes or Projects, contributing to the success of the CTO Division and wider business.
AIM OF THE ROLE:
- Proactively manage and support Projects or Programmes across a diverse Digital Transformation portfolio, contributing to strategic growth through planning, stewardship, and governance.
- Contribute to and tailor Project (or Programme) governance and strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders, influencing C-Suite and senior management to secure support and alignment.
- Manage change effectively, employing robust risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the Head of Programmes and the Community of Practice in defining and demonstrating excellence, inspiring others.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Initiate & Plan:
- Agree desired business outcomes with stakeholders and translate requirements into a project roadmap that delivers value.
Governance & Quality:
- Ensure quality and governance across assigned projects, tailoring approaches from the governance framework.
- Clarify stakeholder roles and responsibilities, ensuring adherence to governance for success.
- Manage scope and handle deviations through change control processes.
Communication & Reporting:
- Communicate clearly and tailor messages to the audience.
- Set effective meeting agendas and manage project milestones and timelines.
- Monitor and mitigate risks, escalating significant issues as needed.
Leadership:
- Lead by example, motivate, mentor, and coach colleagues.
- Support colleagues in setting priorities and resolving conflicts.
Wellbeing & Personal Development:
- Assess workloads and support colleagues' health and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the Community of Practice and drive continuous improvement and personal growth.
