Senior Project Manager

Salter Grange is now recruiting an experienced and talented Senior Project Manager to join a highly regarded construction company specialising in Critical Environments in the UK, with a particular focus on the Data Centre sector in the London market.

The Project is an exciting new build Data Centre in East London valued at £200m+

The ideal Senior Project Manager will have a strong background in Building and Construction and experience in fit-out projects with recognised contractors.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring your team delivers on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality, safety, and client satisfaction standards.

1. Develop and update the construction program in collaboration with the Contracts Manager, ensuring that project milestones are met.
2. Determine resource requirements for the project and effectively communicate with your team.
3. Establish and maintain a strong safety culture by implementing the required safety systems.
4. Oversee project quality throughout its lifecycle to ensure the highest standards are met.
5. Manage project costs efficiently, ensuring strict control over preliminary expenses and packages.
6. Collaborate closely with the commercial team to meet financial objectives.
7. Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication regarding claims and any potential delays.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hold a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in construction, with experience in structural works.
• Experience in data centre projects is an advantage.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong track record in planning and delivering complex projects successfully.
• Excellent numerical skills with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
