Job summary

Capgemini invites applications for a Senior Project Manager in the UK healthcare domain. You will lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT implementations from initiation to handover, owning schedules, budgets and governance.

Collaborating with clinical, operational and technical teams, you will apply PRINCE2 and related practices to deliver on-time, within scope and with clear benefits for stakeholders. Experience with RIS/PACS/VNA and imaging software is advantageous and security clearance

• Familiarity with healthcare imaging systems (RIS, PACS, VNA).

Job description

Capgemini is looking for Senior Project Manager in healthcare domain with end-to-end delivery experience across complex healthcare technology implementations, from initiation and planning through deployment, go-live, hypercare and operational handover.

In this role you will be accountable for:

• Ownership of customer-facing healthcare IT projects, acting as the primary point of accountability for client stakeholders.
• Proven end-to-end delivery experience across complex healthcare technology implementations, from initiation and planning through deployment, go-live, hypercare and operational handover.
• leading formal project governance, including steering committees, status reporting, RAID management, escalation management, and executive stakeholder communications.
• Delivery outcomes throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful implementation, customer acceptance, transition to support, and benefits realization.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholder groups across clinical, operational, technical, and supplier organisations within healthcare environments.

Your profile

• Successful high-tech project management experience
• Strong team player who will act on EDI projects.
• Superb project management skills, including ability to multi-task, using accepted project methodologies such as PRINCE2.
• Demonstrated acumen for understanding IT products and network environments.
• Experience of the workflow within a radiology department would be a benefit.
• Experience of Hospital IT Projects, specifically RIS, PACS, VNA, Digital Pathology and Imaging Software would be an advantage
• Proven end-to-end delivery experience across complex healthcare technology implementations, from initiation and planning through deployment, go-live, hypercare and operational handover.
• Strong project financial and commercial management experience, including budget ownership, forecasting, cost control, margin management, change control, and financial reporting.
