The Role

Due to our continued success here at Fortem, we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Northern division. This will be responsible for our Stoke and Chester areas; you will ideally be located within easy commute of these sites.

The Customer

We are proud to announce the recent contract win and mobilisation of the Sanctuary Social Housing refurbishment contract.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of operational trades and construction staff
  • Have direct responsibility for the safe delivery of social housing refurbishment and retrofit projects
  • Manage sub-contracted labour
  • Liaise with, and update the client with issues and progress
  • Report into the Operations Manager for this contract
  • Ensure contracts and works are delivered safety, on time and in budget
  • Maintain the highest level of Health & Safety procedures
  • Hold full operational responsibility for the ongoing refurbishment projects
  • Mentor and motivate a newly established team
What You Will Need

Essential

  • Social housing refurbishment experience
  • Experience in a Project Management refurbishment/maintenance position
  • Experience in working with Retrofit maintenance programmes
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • The desire to make a difference in the social housing construction sector
  • Exceptional H&S knowledge
  • Excellent IT skills
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A clear basic DBS

  • Knowledge and experience of working within Retrofit social housing contracts
