Senior Project Manager

Purpose of the job

To lead, direct, coordinate, and implement key projects with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring delivery according to customer requirements while meeting Nuvia's performance and profit margins. The role involves meeting time, quality, and cost requirements, ensuring safety and compliance within highly regulated sectors.

Reports to

Project Sponsor and/or Business Area Director

Key Accountabilities

1. Manage existing projects mid-cycle to ensure successful continuation and completion.
2. Establish communication and project launch for new projects.
3. Prepare proposals and specifications under supervision.
4. Plan, monitor, and control project costs, resources, and schedules with multidisciplinary teams.
5. Support technical leads to ensure application of relevant technical solutions.
6. Supervise project teams to maintain quality and safety standards.
7. Assess and mitigate project risks.
8. Deliver projects according to the Project Management Plan (PMP).

Handover and Project Launch

1. Hold review meetings to assess current project status.
2. Understand project requirements, stakeholders, and complexities for smooth transition.
3. Establish communication routes and project teams.
4. Maintain close dialogue with customers and stakeholders.
5. Support project security requirements.

Planning and Control

1. Develop proposals, strategies, and project management plans.
2. Set up budgets, work breakdown structures, and accounting systems.
3. Manage subcontracting processes and tender exercises.
4. Monitor project costs, resources, and progress; implement corrective actions as needed.
5. Produce progress reports and manage contract deviations.

Safety and Quality Supervision

1. Supervise project teams to achieve safety and quality standards.
2. Coordinate project start-up and construction phases.
