About the team: This is an excellent and rare opportunity to join Cirium's Programme Management Office (PMO) as a Project Manager for a market-leading aviation data and analytics company. The PMO function plays a critical role in driving value across the highest-priority initiatives, fostering exceptional collaboration between Product, Technology, and Data teams to ensure seamless execution and success within an agile environment.

About the role: This is an Excellent opportunity to join Cirium's Programme Management Office as a Senior Project Manager based in the UK. The role is hybrid with 2 days required in the office in either London or Southampton. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and programmes within a global technology organisation, coupled with the emotional intelligence to adapt beyond conventional project management methodologies when needed to maximise the value delivery.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects that require engagement with internal and external stakeholders
• Contract / relationship management
• Preparing and presenting information to win new bids
• Managing large scale, externally focused projects
• Managing projects that require output from scrum engineering team(s)
• Management of complex dependency management across multiple squads and cross functional areas
• Partnering with other project stakeholders to resolve issues, adapt plan where necessary and to mitigate project impacts
• Presenting complex project information at a high level to a senior executive audience

Qualifications

• Lead programmes involving engineering squads, product teams, architects, and data specialists
• Navigate complex projects through uncertainty, proactively identifying risks and communicating progress clearly
• Present high-level project updates to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence
• Manage dependencies across multiple teams and ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Oversee project financials, tracking forecasts and actuals
• Adapt project management approaches to suit the needs of each initiative
• Champion continuous improvement and value-driven delivery
• Foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and build strong stakeholder relationships
• Provide leadership and support to team members, including line management responsibilities
