Purpose of Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the Building Solutions Team (South). The role involves overseeing multiple projects within the Defence sector, including refurbishment and new build works exceeding £1M.

Job Description

The Senior Project Manager will lead client relationship development, ensure project delivery within budget, manage subcontractor performance, and develop the project pipeline to meet targets and margins.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects in the defence sector across the region
• Provide project direction, focus, and consistency
• Maintain regular interaction with clients
• Oversee subcontractor performance
• Manage project finances
• Review project schedules and budgets
• Establish and maintain project risk and issue strategies

Essential Qualifications/Skills

• SMSTS & NEBOSH certifications
• NVQ Level 4 or higher in Construction Management
• Experience managing commercial projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage costs and subcontractor performance
