Job description

Senior Project Manager – Bristol BS34 - Fixed Term Contract to run until March 2026

  • Up to £65,000 Pro Rate DOE
  • Hybrid working – MoD Abbey Wood and remote
  • 25 days annual leave inclusive of up to 3 days December shut-down

Reporting to our Head of Delivery for Strategic Systems you will be at the heart of a successful, motivated group developing innovative solutions to meet complex customer requirements.

Based out of MOD Abbey Wood in Bristol there is the opportunity to work in a Hybrid environment where project classification allows, providing you the best of both worlds:flexibility and collaboration.

Your experience will enable us to do more, serving as the main point of contact for any contract-related issues and enlisting the assistance of other stakeholders as needed.

Essential experience

  • Project Management Practitioner Qualification
  • Software Development Lifecycle
  • A background in managing complex projects
  • Ability to autonomously lead and manage teams, suppliers and projects
  • Experience with good software development practices
  • Highly organised and process driven individual

Desirable Experience

  • Membership of an appropriate professional or chartered body
  • Knowledge of the Defence industry or a similar technical discipline
