Role Purpose
Responsible for the safe execution of a portfolio of concurrent projects across various Rolls Royce sites. Ensures projects meet Integral & Rolls Royce standards for health, safety, quality, cost, and programme, while complying as a Principal Contractor with current CDM legislation, including MS18 and CSO6 standards. Qualified in a related trade such as mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, building fabric, or roofing.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage projects valued between £50k to £15m across Rolls Royce sites in Inchinnam.
- Ensure project delivery in accordance with NEC3 Framework Contract and contract programme.
- Provide health and safety leadership, promoting behavioural safety and compliance among teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Support risk management processes to ensure safe and timely project delivery.
- Lead in quotations and estimates, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Maintain strong client/stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance reputation.
- Coach and develop team members and trainees.
- Collaborate with the Senior Design Manager to produce robust, economical, and constructible designs.
- Identify and support project opportunities to improve commercial performance.
- Liaise with Project Managers to ensure compliance with MS18, CS06, and project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure project quality standards are met, including British Standards and Rolls Royce standards.
- Complete projects free of snag and defects, delivering final accounts and O&M information on time.
What We Will Need From You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction/building services.
- Experience working in occupied buildings or campuses.
- Experience using NEC3 Contracts.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and standards across multiple sites.
- Experience preparing quotations and estimates.
- Understanding of customer business requirements.
- Construction-related qualification such as City & Guilds/NVQ.
- Certifications including SMSTS, JIB/BESA, CSCS, First Aid.
- Proficiency with MS Office and quality assurance software like Fieldview.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with problem-solving abilities.
