Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Midlands is seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to lead delivery of large-scale schemes across offices, industrial, aviation, and public sector. Based in Nottingham or Birmingham, you will drive projects through full lifecycle, marshal stakeholders and manage budgets.

You will mentor teams, oversee procurement, and ensure compliance with our standards while contributing to winning new work in a collaborative, hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified with significant relevant experience.
• Chartered professional (MRICS, MCIOB or CHPP) or equivalent.
• Proven track record delivering projects across public and private sectors.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in complex environments.
• Commercially astute with experience managing project finances.
• Experience with JCT and NEC contracts and procurement strategies.

Overview

We are seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to join our growing Midlands practice, based in Nottingham (or Birmingham). You will lead the successful delivery of complex, high-value schemes across sectors including commercial offices, industrial/logistics, aviation infrastructure, and public sector programmes. This role combines project leadership, client relationship management and commercial accountability, with the opportunity to play a visible role in shaping regional delivery.

Your role

• Lead the delivery of projects through the full lifecycle, applying best practice PM methodology.
• Act as the primary client interface and trusted advisor.
• Take responsibility for project commercial performance, governance and resourcing.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and drive collaborative behaviours across stakeholders.

About you
