About the Company:
I'm working with a highly respected, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy based in Birmingham, known for delivering top-tier project management services across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and public realm. Due to continued success and a strong pipeline of work, they're now looking to bring an experienced Senior Project Manager on board.

The Role:
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll take the lead on delivering complex and high-value projects from inception through to completion. You'll be working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring that programmes, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. This is a client-facing role with real autonomy, ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility and takes pride in delivering excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of construction projects across multiple sectors
  • Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and risk registers
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
  • Oversee procurement processes and contract administration (typically JCT or NEC)
  • Chair and coordinate design team and project meetings
  • Monitor progress, quality, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Mentor and support junior project management staff
  • Contribute to business development and repeat work opportunities


What I'm Looking For:

  • Degree qualified in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB) or working towards it
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a consultancy environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction delivery and contracts
  • Proven track record managing high-value projects independently
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Confident dealing directly with clients and senior stakeholders
  • A proactive and organised approach with a genuine passion for project delivery
