McBride Sport is recruiting on behalf of a high-profile client for a Senior Project Manager with a strong marketing background to lead the delivery and promotion of one of the UK’s premier horse racing events.

This is a unique opportunity to drive the full marketing and communications strategy for a nationally significant day and its supporting assets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy for the event
• Overseeing digital campaigns, content planning, and brand activations across all channels
• Managing a Social Media Manager and guiding content creation across BCS channels
• Driving pre-event promotion, audience engagement, and ticket sales through strategic marketing
• Collaborating with the internal marketing team to ensure consistency and impact
• Coordinating with sponsors to deliver marketing value and maximise exposure

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong experience delivering high-profile marketing campaigns in sport, events, or entertainment
• Understands how to build and execute a multi-channel strategy that drives reach and engagement
• Can manage teams, timelines, and expectations under pressure
• Is confident working with senior stakeholders and commercial partners
• Brings a mix of creativity, leadership, and operational focus
• Has racing knowledge (a bonus, but not essential)
