As a Project Manager in RM Assessment, you will be working on a range of projects and programmes valued at up to £25m and lasting anything between 6 months and 3 years. The Project Manager works autonomously within the team, with the ability to take crucial commercially considered decisions regarding leading and shaping their own projects. They will matrix manage cross-functional teams of up to 20 people, pulling together resources from across the business to achieve project objectives and motivating teams to achieve combined deliverables.
Working within the RM Assessment governance framework, the role holder will ensure that projects and the delivery of major client deliverables are planned, tracked, and managed effectively and efficiently. Financial management and control is a key part of the role. Working with our Account Directors and customer management teams, the Project Manager will manage and continue to build existing customer relationships while also effectively responding to new business requirements, shaping and scoping the project management process and response to ensure new business wins. As a member of the RM Assessment operational team, the Project Manager may also lead major service incidents and manage significant customer issues when required. There may be the need for international travel combined with flexible working patterns to meet our international customer needs.
It is critical that the Project Manager is commercially astute but also customer-focused with excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate and influence both internally and externally with senior business stakeholders up to and including CEO level.

Experience of managing diverse and cross-functional software implementation projects is essential.
Formal Project Management Qualification Prince 2/PMI (Desirable).
Exceptional financial management and control skills and experience.
Experience of working in an Agile environment.
Knowledge and experience of working in the full Software Delivery Life Cycle.
Experience working with senior decision makers within customer organisations.
A proven track record of defining, developing, and managing projects to time and budget.
Experience in delivering operational change in existing business functions.
Strong communication skills – to effectively communicate relevant project information to internal and external stakeholders with the ability to monitor and act on client and staff feedback and understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
The ability to influence internal and external stakeholders of all levels, using flexibility of approach.
Demonstrable ability to motivate teams to work together in the most efficient manner. Offer advice and coaching to help them achieve targets, holding individuals to account as necessary.
Diligence to ensure appropriate audit and compliance activities are in place i.e. ISO.
Flexibility and adaptability.
Expert user of MS Project and MS Excel.
Line management experience with the ability to demonstrate capacity planning and mentoring skillsets.
