Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Project Engineering Manager for the UK/IE Field Engineering team, based out of LHR offices. You will manage complex deployment projects, including automated solutions and MHE re-layouts, across the AMZL network and drive lifecycle from concept to handover.

Typically you will lead cross-functional initiatives, optimize resources, and collaborate with senior leadership to resolve conflicts while advancing standardization and expansion of Amazon logistics.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex engineering programs in logistics or manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of automation and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex deployment projects across AMZL network.
• Own programs related to launches, retrofits, or upgrades.
• Lead lifecycle from concept to handover with stakeholders.
• Balance resources, capex, and timelines to meet business goals.
• Collaborate with senior management to resolve conflicts
• Identify process improvements at country or European level
