Job Description:

As a Senior Project Engineer in the Mechanical Engineering department, you will support national and international projects focusing on decarbonisation technologies, including green hydrogen electrolysis, CCUS, and H2-capable power plants. Your responsibilities include:

• Managing technical aspects of projects from conception to completion, focusing on piping, tanks, pumps, heat exchangers, cooling and auxiliary systems
• Overseeing orders and project lots with internal and external partners for planning, procurement, and installation
• Ensuring project deadlines, quality, and budget adherence
• Managing relationships to facilitate technical implementation
• Supporting construction and commissioning phases
• Developing and reviewing project decisions and results in the Balance of Plant area
• Assisting in feasibility studies and specifications development

Your Profile:

• Degree in engineering sciences
• Over 7 years of experience in Balance of Plant projects within the energy, chemical, oil and gas sectors
• Knowledge of PED and DVGW regulations
• Experience with design and operation of relevant technical systems
• Strong teamwork, communication, negotiation skills, and results-oriented approach
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Fluent in English

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

• Additional language skills
• Knowledge of flare design, hydrogen or gas refuelling stations, storage
• Experience with gas and steam turbines, gas purification, or liquefaction
• Project management certifications (e.g., IPMA, PMI)
